What is traditionally known as perfume in the cosmetic industry is a secret recipe of ingredients that can contain harmful chemicals such as phtalates.

Cosmetic companies are not required to disclose the ingredients of their perfume, which is why it's often listed as “fragrance” or something similar on the ingredient list.

We don't use such perfume or fragrances. We only use 100% natural essential oils to give a scent to our products. This means no hidden ingredients or harmful synthetic chemicals, and a 100% natural product.

Since we use the raw ingredients in their most unprocessed form, the unscented products will smell mildly like these ingredients, such as tallow or shea butter.

We choose purposefully not to deodorize these raw fats, as this requires extra processing, which may impact the nutrients and active substances present in the fat.

The smell is mild, and most of our customers are fine with it, or even enjoy it.

Once opened, our moisturizers, sun balm and lip balm products last for about 6 months. Unopened, this could be up to 2 years.

The bath salt and tooth powder can last for 2 years, even after opening.

The soap can last for 2 years, but once used, it is better to use it after that until it is finished.

The mouthwash is best used within 2 months. As a water-based product without preservatives, it is most susceptible to spoilage.

Storing the product airtight, and in a cool and dark place can extend its shelf life.

Exposure to heat, light, and oxygen, can speed up the degradation process.

The products are always at their best when fresh.

MOISTURIZER / LIP BALM / SOAP / SUNBALM

The skin of children and especially babies is extra sensitive.

For this reason, we would advise using the unscented version of these products for babies and children, as the essential oils, even in the safe and low concentrations we use, can sometimes be an issue for very sensitive skin.

No matter if you have the scented or unscented moisturizer. We would advise starting with a minimal amount on a small bit of skin to start, just to see how the skin reacts, before proceeding to cover larger parts of skin.

Previous customers have used the moisturizer, sun balm, lip balm, and soap for their young children with great results and no issues, but care is always advised.

TOOTHBRUSH

The toothbrush is an adult toothbrush, which may be difficult to handle for children, depending on their age.

Toothbrushes for children are something we are working and aim to release at some point in the future.

TOOTHPOWDER

All ingredients of the toothpowder are safe for use by children as well.

MOUTHWASH

The mouthwash is safe to use by children, but be advised that the mint and resulting cooling sensation in the mouth can be very strong.
