The tooth powder is not meant to be swallowed. However, if you accidentally happen to swallow the tooth powder, it is completely safe.

Naturally, this depends on how often you brush, and how much you use each time.

However, typical usage of twice a day would allow this tooth powder to last you about 2 months.

The unflavored tooth powder has a mildly sweet taste due to the Xylitol. The other ingredients can be slightly bitter, but are mostly tasteless.
